Yes you do need to be ready for it, but only when you feel you are ready to do it. Most importantly you need to get straight on your medication and when you are feeling a little better in yourself. I just think it's difficult doing erp alone.

Not sure if this will help, but have you read Ashley's post on erp on the top of the OCD support forum, it explains about erp.
