Hi all
I am supporting someone with schizophrenia & OCD, the latter getting to a crisis point checking doors etc locked & washing rituals. I rather think his mental health team have given up with him! He has tried traditional talk therapies that have made no difference at all. He has asked me to do some graded exposure work with him & I have read up on exposure & response technique. Although I am tempted to have a go I am not a trained therapist & do not want to do more harm than good. Any suggestions?
