Reason/cure for Ocd found in mices

I am all about reality. We all suffer becausr of some thing in our brains. We dony know exactly why but i found some research from this summer which talks about a instant cure in mice.

 

And an instant suffering in thosr who didnt have ocd but when they activated the gene.

 

Anorher very intresting thing i found about this gene is that is involved in stress sensitivity and how stress leads to depression!!!

I have had a few depressions and they have all come after a period of stress.

 

I like this kind of explanations. It is always best whrn you go to the core of things.

I also read about the research. They found some protein that is responsible for signal transmission in brain is actually responsible for OCD like behavior in mice. Found some chemical that can alter this protein. But still human study is not started and it is far from being implemented in human. But let's hope for the best. Let hope hope science will nail this horribly tormenting disorder someday!

Ah ah me too  I just wonder how mices can have OCD ?

Haha!  How do they know the treatment didn't only address the overt compulsions?  They may be left with all pure-o mice!
