Overcoming False Memory OCD

Recommended Posts

Thank you bears! It just seems to be very difficult to get effective help,it's almost like you have to battle for it which is difficult whenever your defences are already fairly down. I am feeling better on the whole but still a long way off my 'normal' self if that makes sense.

The worst thing is the relentless feeling of guilt that seems to crop up and nip you whenever you least expect it and are trying to do normal things. For instance enjoying shopping for presents for loved ones and then all of a sudden there's a voice in  your head butts in and says 'hey but what if you did do X,Y and Z after all and here you are enjoying yourself. How could you!' But overall it's happening less than it used to,still quite a lot  but not every waking minute like before. So fingers crossed it just continues to improve. Thanks again again for your input. It's always so nice to have your advice as it's always constructive and from a place of knowledge ☺️
