BelAnna Posted March 26, 2017 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Hi All, Every Sunday I obsess about my family members crashing on the way to work on Monday. It's horrible to always imagine my loved ones dying. I always say 'Please drive carefully' to my loved ones, which is obviously a compulsion. I don't know what to do about this worry (apart from obviously stop the compulsion!). Do anyone else relate and what can I do about it? Link to comment
PolarBear Posted March 27, 2017 Share Posted March 27, 2017 Nothing. And I do mean nothing. Yes, stop the compulsion. But you need to learn to do nothing about the thoughts. You need to figure out what compulsions you are doing and put the brakes on them. I'm sure you ruminate over the thoughts. There's one you need to learn to stop. Link to comment
