FiBaileyBlue
Hi I am after some advice if that's ok. I suffer from OCD and take 250mg daily of Sertraline. I was taking 200mg but my dose was increased a couple of weeks ago. I feel tired most of the day and fatigued. I take my mwda before I go to bed. I have been on my meds for a year. I also feel sometimes like I don't feel anything? MAde said the tiredness only appears at the beginning of the meds so I don't understand why I am tired now. I'm starting to worry there's something else wrong. Any answers will be appreciated. Thanks Fi x Link to comment
OceanDweller
Hi Fi and welcome to the forum. May I ask, was your dosage increase due to a worsening of your symptoms? As you are probably aware, depression can cause considerable fatigue. Could it be that your medication has become ineffective? This can happen over time. Link to comment
Zazoo
I take 150mg of Sertraline myself per day and find that depression is the main reason of my fatigue, if I sleep well enough I'm usually fine for most of the day. Link to comment
PolarBear
It could be the meds. Stick it out for a couple of weeks but if the fatigue doesn't subside, go back to your doctor and ask to be put on a lower dose or to try a different SSRI. Link to comment
