Sick and paranoid

Plus... you've gone back to posting a list of symptoms because you feel anxious.  Whether you're hoping to be given reassurance from others or whether it's a way to reassure yourself, resorting to this old familiar behaviour is a compulsion and a backward step. :( 

What happened to all the good progress you've been making lately? 

How would your therapist suggest you manage this bout of anxiety? Imagine her talking to you and apply the advice you know she'd give. 

Come on, Phili, you can talk yourself out of this panicky feeling. :)

That's ok. The occasional slip up doesn't matter - we all get them. What matters is we recognise when they happen and get ourselves back on track as quickly as possible. 

Keep up the good work, Phili. You've been doing great lately, posting less, making new friends, new hairstyle - it's all fabulous progress. You should be proud of yourself. Use that pride to keep pushing forward because there are even more great things to come. :)
