Hello,i think i suffer from ROCD.i havent been to the doctor about it though its really hard to explain for me,i just love speaking to people about it as it makes me feel better. It all started when my sister and her long term boyfriend split, and i was getting alot of stress from college. I was around alot of negativity for a very long while,, which caused me to start thinking negatively about my relationship,i started to question it alot,i still do its gets me down alot. my boyfriend is the best,he makes me so happy and cares about me so much, everything was perfect and i was so happy before this came along and wont go away, i dont know if you can help? it occurs more when we are apart i just think negative thoughts such as 'what if ive fallen out of love' or 'am i in love' but i cant stop thinking about it, these thoughts never happened before, only since i was surrounded by negativity and i saw my sister hurt and upset for a few months, ever day. i love my boyfriend to pieces,i really do. ROCD is hurting me so much:( anyone else!

Hey both of you :) You both seem like you're new to these thoughts. I am not going to tell you that "you love your partner" because that is a compulsion. All i am going to say is, i had these thoughts about my partner 2 years ago, i'm still with her, i love her and i look forward to many years with her :) Do not worry about it.

I am very new to these thoughts, and I know I love him so so much, he's my world! Just need to let these stupid thoughts creep in:( and I need to stop worrying! That reply has helped so much btw, thanks for that

Just don't worry about it. Everytime you get such thoughts quickly remind yourself that its your OCD and that its nothing real.
