Has anyone else dealt with these? I just want to know other people have overcome.

Your family doesn't know you're have OCD, you're nervous to tell them, and if you do they might think you are crazy.

You had a hard time living with a roommate.

You have been so tired of compulsions that just thinking about it makes you tired.

You want help, but are nervous that if you fail, it will be your fault.

You don't even like to shower to get clean at certain places because of germs.

Family - I believe that you know best where family are concerned - but they may surprise you and not react as you expect .

Tiredness - this is part of the process, you become exhausted by the thought of what you will go through the next day.

Help - there is no failure - only trying to recover , trying to make one small step at a time , and when it doesn't work regroup and try again.

Shower - always a compromise , but plenty of people shower in all sorts of facilities !

So in answer to your post - overcoming is possible . But seeking help is the most important step ! Best wishes
