I have worked really hard lately at reducing and stoping compulsions . I can honestly say that I have cut compulsions by about 90% I'm feeling much better but I still feel uncertain and just wish the uncertainty would disappear but I think this is actually what's holding me back . I just have to accept and keep working at not doing compulsions .

My biggest achievement is that I have completely been off my antidepressants for 6 weeks and most of the side affects have gone :-) I can finally feel emotions again :-)

Sounds like you are doing brilliantly. Uncertainty is around us all the time, we can't run from it. People with OCD are sensitive to uncertainty, we find it harder to bear. The answer I guess is that we tolerate it, and with doing so, prove to ourselves that we can tolerate it more than we thought we.could. Keep moving foward with uncertainty.

Fantastic news, mummy. You were in a bad place before. So heart warming to hear you've been able to reduce your compulsions by that much.

The uncertainty should fade with time and your ability to put up with it should increase. Keep going down the safe path. You're doing marvelous.
