Hi Sophie, welcome to the forums, I hope you can find the support and help you are looking for! OCD can be overwhelming but know that you are not alone, that there is help available, and it definitely can get better. Are you seeing anyone professionally about your troubles right now or have you in the past?

Yeah I definitely recommend working with someone if possible, it can be a big help. CBT is definitely not always easy, it can take a few tries to really get things going, but definitely try to stick with it. Its really about learning a skill set to apply to the OCD long term, so the more practice you do at it the better and easier it will be. If you continue to struggle medication can also help too. I find that having both CBT and my SSRI help immensely in my recovery!

I take medication also. Morning and night I'm just finding it a really stressful matter at the minute. Thank you for replying though its nice to know someone's going through the same exact thing
