Guest simmo778
I take 10mg of olanzapine but I'm thinking of increasing it to 15mg, do you think that may give me some peace? Link to comment
taurean
You might not need to... Look at "Taurean's Simple Guide To Meditation" re-posted 26/2. This is based on mindfulness. As I understand it, all our worrying, ruminating, OCD angst takes place in what is called the active "doing" part of the brain. MIndfulness - just being in the moment - switches focus to the "being" part of the brain and takes us away from all the overthinking and distress. Look it up and give it a try. It may take a few goes over a little time , and keeping refocusing to it from angst, to get it working for you, but it's a great way to peace for many people and its soothing and pleasant imagery anyway. :original: Edited February 28, 2015 by taurean Link to comment
Caramoole
No Simmo you shouldn't. You should only take the dose prescribed for you by your doctor. They are powerful medications and shouldn't be messed around with. If you're not finding them as helpful as you hoped go back and talk to whoever has prescribed them. Caramoole Link to comment
