Guest Atreides
Hi all, I'm just posting because I hope it'll help if I verbalize my anxieties as of late. I struggled terribly with intrusive, terrible and violent throughts, and my number one fear is that I would enjoy such things. It's the worst part of OCD I can imagine. I know many before have posted that they share similar fears and anxieties, and I know I'm not supposed to look for reassurance. But, I'm starting back on sertraline today, and I'm hoping that'll take the edge off the fears. Have any of you recently went back on meds? What was the average time it took you to get back feeling towards normal, or at least apathetic to the fears? I'm praying this helps quickly. OCD sucks. For real. Link to comment
Guest Atreides
Hey all, Sorry to be asking again, but I'm just really having a terrible day here with the OCD. One of those days where you've almost convinced yourself it's not even OCD. I know it's reassurance seeking, but can anyone chime in if they've recently started Sertraline and it's helped? I've had Sertraline before, and it seemed to have helped a few weeks in. It'd just be nice to hear stories of when it kicked in pretty quickly. I could use some hope to get through today. daisy
Hi Atreides, I'm sorry you are feeling so bad,i think that most of the drugs take a few weeks to get in your system, but if they helped quickly before i hope you find they do again.I'm sorry i can't be more help x Link to comment
Guest Atreides
Today turned out pretty bad. Work was so-so. My job allows me to ruminate all day, which is terrible. But, I got up the initiative to go to a baseball game with my fiancé, so I started feeling better there. The setraline has made me really nauseas. I just am really tired of ruminating. Here's to a better day tomorrow. Link to comment

Guest Atreides
I get the trembling wreck part. Started the sertraline about 12hours ago. Now I am fighting nausea and chills pretty bad. Didn't sleep much, either. I swear I feel marginally better, though. Link to comment
