Lincoln83
Just a note to say thank you to everybody involved in todays conference. Some very inspirational stories today and I am very grateful to Dr Elizabeth Forrester for spending some one to one time with me- greatly appriciated and I found her advice and guidance very helpful and motivating! taurean
Hi Lincoln, I am sorry I didn't make it, for the likely reasons I explained in an earlier thread - things came massively to a head mother-in-law wise and I had to be involved, plus I was pinned to home with a really poorly stomach and a viral infection. I am so pleased you enjoyed it. i am waiting to hear from another forum friend who attended. Elizabeth was on my list of possible therapists in London to go and consult but I selected a practice in the city of London which is easier for me to get to than her practice which is based in South London. Guest PhilipD99
Just a check that I now have access to the members only areas! I used to love conferences when working especially when they were paid for by drug companies! Perhaps meet you next year if general health allows? Link to comment

taurean
Just to say that at the London Support Group meeting last week I met two people who went to the conference, one of whom had his partner with him. I think partners who take the time and effort to find out about OCD and how it affects their nearest and dearest are a rare breed, and absolutely the salt of the earth. I took the opportunity to thank the one I met on behalf I suppose of many such selfless people - my wife included - who have seen the light and do provide this caring support.
