Slandered& sort of defamed on Facebook!

Today I went on Facebook in a very long time I didn't want to go on really but a close friend of mine told me of this guy who had assaulted me a couple of months ago& was abusive to me both in person& on my mobile phone went on my Facebook page& wrote several offensive messages about me which seemed to be slanderous.He wrote some quite offensive comments about my character which clearly aren't/weren't true,I went on my page& saw the comments& deleted each one as I didn't want that stuff about me written on there it sort of made me quite upset& made me very anxious& depressed& shook up my OCD I have been ruminating&obsessing over all this quite a bit where usually I've been quite calm I need some advice about this I've been trying very hard but still feel quite upset right now about it all.

I'd report it also.. Unless you know someone that can teach him a lesson (unorthodox I know..).

Thanks a lot BP I really appreciate your reply& trust me I know what you mean lol , a number of times that day when I had that confrontation it crossed me not to give it to him when maybe I should've or could've but maybe better I didn't in the end lol.I'm thinking to report it I obviously have so much evidence on him :original: .He has gloated about his stealing from places many times& I know for a fact he does all this& he goes to sporting events so often& sneaks in without paying, steals alcohol from the Bars& food as well& I've seen him at my local venue for e.g take money from someone who had dropped it on the ground but at the time when that happened I didn't really know what he did but he admitted to it later& even laughed about it& he has done many other things as well :original: .

He started everything by initially abusing me on my mobile phone with text messages& then he in person did it both verbally& physically at our local venue& that was all caught on camera if I want to push that also& then he went on Facebook on my page& posted a number of slanderous& defaming comments about me which really got me over the edge really :original: .I'm seeing my Dr(Psychiatrist) today as well so hopefully I can have a good talk with him about this&other things as well.

You're doing the right thing, if you want to do things the right way you need to keep your cool.

Bullies are pathetic and from what you say he sounds like an absolute loser!

Thanks very much TBP for your reply once again very much appreciated my friend :original: , This guy is 30 nearly 31 my Dr said he seems quite vindictive& some people sadly are like that & my health support worker said he sounds maybe insecure who needs to do such things.I've been trying my best not to give in to him& really haven't instigated anything to be honest,the only thing I did really was said I don't want to buy the phone he had for sale that I had asked him about but I did say to him from the start how much did he want for it? he got angry really because I said I don't want to buy it& I couldn't spend that type of money not at all that I didn't think it was worth it :original: .
