I had an accident at work and after coming back from the hospital my boss called me in for an accident investigation. At the investigation meeting a boss asked about my medical treatment and I had to look at the letter provided by the hospital for my GP. At that point this boss took my letter and photocopied it, at the time I was uneasy about this but didn't have the guts to say something.

Anyway a week later they called me into a disciplinary and asked me questions referring to my medical notes. I couldn't answer as I couldn't explain or remember.

Is this legal and should I not have to give legal consent for my medical records to be used in such a manner.

Well hes in no way entitiled to yoru actual medical notes he may be entitiled to see a note from the doctor explaining your time off or what not be hes not aloud to grab yoru personal info out of your hand mate no.
