Guest Saved by zero
My checking has been manageable for a long time. I can check things once or sometimes not at all and I feel OK. I've been married for 21 years and during that time my wife and I have never been apart for more than a day or 2. She is on a 3 week vacation in the UK and France. She's been gone for over 2 weeks now and since she has been gone my checking has increased. I guess my brain thought she was my back up and that if I failed to check something she was there to make sure it was OK. She comes back on Thursday, so I'll have to see if my need to check decreases again. Link to comment
PolarBear
You've been relying on her to help you with your compulsions, perhaps. Or at least relying on her as backup. Now is the perfect time to practice not checking when you don't have the backup. Link to comment
