  4. Suffered for 3 years with OCD - mixture of intrusive thoughts . My latest obsession is that I am conscious of every breath I take . Does anybody else suffer with this ?
  5. I have tried ciralopram , escitalopram, mirtizapine, sertraline and fluexetine over the past 3 years . My Phychiartist has just put me on clompramine starting this weekend 25mg going up 25mg per week up to 100mg when I will see him next
  6. Totally relate to your problem Lauren I'm the same with my breathing
  7. Hi Roy I have been on escitalopram and recently added mirtazapine to the mix . I have been up and down for the past year . Escitalopram takes the panic and anxiety down a notch . Escitalopram has given me no side effects but mirtazapine has given me an increase in appetite .

  9. Hi all apologies in advance for this long feed. Suffering over year and despite being on escitalopram and mirtazapine , I feel utterly misearable with my obsessions. Obsessions have ranged from horrid sexual thoughts about children to body Obsessions. The latest one is taste and I obsess that I can't taste my food but I can , really weird to explain .food is always on my mind and just keep thinking about taste . I have had cbt for 6 months but this ended in September and I have to wait up to 18 months for referral for more. I met with my phychitrist last month who made a long term plan in regards medication and treatment options . This gave me reassurance and when I went back to see her last week she had left and I had a new Dr who was not as supportive and a bit blunt . This has made me feel so much worse . I have since found out my work pay for private and I am considering private therapy . Has anybody got any experience with private treatment ?
