Guest legend
I came across an article in my local paper about the new nice guidlines for gps, which hopefully will enable them to detect anxiety disorders more efficiently. Heres the nice guidlines that were announced today http://www.nice.org.uk/newsroom/news/GreaterSupportForGPsToHelpDiagnoseCommonMentalHealthDisorders.jsp Link to comment

Ashley
I'm not sure what the link is forwarding me to read I can't see it. A very old thread. To be fair to Legend, since he posted NICE have changed their website so all the links to NICE guidelines for various conditions no longer worked, and to navigate around their new website is awful, I once tried to download the basic guidance for OCD and I could not find it, it is one of the worst navigating websites I have ever used, even the search is not clear. I am not sure which guidance Legend is referring to, but here is the link to the anxiety conditions NICE have published: https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/conditions-and-diseases/mental-health-and-behavioural-conditions/anxiety Link to comment
