Well Done for seeing what you need to do :)

As we've said before....rumination "seems" automatic but it isn't, we do enter into that rumination. As your mind wanders off to start the debate you've got to recognise that that's what you're about to do and then re-direct your brain back into the present moment. It's likely your brain will keep wanting to wander back to thinking about the situation....it's become a habit for you to do that. Acknowledge what you're doing, know the cause as OCD and keep coming back to the present and keep busy with other things

Good Luck :)

That is good to hear, I know you have been going through a real tough bout lately. Each time you feel yourself wondering about it again, recognize it, note it, and move on. The content of the obsession isn't really important it is just that you are obsessing, so spending more time thinking about it will make you worse. It will take practice to beat this learned behaviour but it can be done. keep going.
