i don't know about you but making a decision with ocd sometimes feels impossible! How do we know what we really want when we are so anxious and constantly changing our minds and doubting every thought.

How do you guys come to a decision?

The answer to your question is with a great deal of difficulty. its also down to self confidence . The combination of the two ocd and low self confidence leads to an inability to make decisions and to doubt if you are making the right choice.

You way up the pros and cons , and hopefully make the right choice - just like anyone . The problems come when you've made the decision because then you revisit and revisit and revisit to convince yourself your wrong!

Hi Rosiebella

I was just about to post the same question when I saw your one.

I am terrible at making decisions and whatver I do decide it always seems to be the wrong one!

What AJ has said is so right.

I hope others say what helps them x

I am probably unusal (for someone with OCD) but most of the time I make decisions easily. I have my moments, though, when I seem to get 'stuck', so I do know what it can be like. I'm just glad that most of the time I don't suffer this.

I wish I had some tips, but I truly don't know what I am doing (or thinking) differently when able to make decisions. It's like my brain is physically functioning differently from the times when I become 'stuck'.

Aj you are spot on and that is what I am doing. Keep revisiting my decision to convince myself I am wrong. It's horrible but I am going to accept the uncertainty and move on! Thank you all x
