Guest Gale1982
If any of you are feeling bad or worried about life, then consider the following: I have a hangover and am about to spend the whole day paint-balling with my nephew in a muddy field. I tried to avoid alcohol last night but a bad day at the office (and a crappy spell of OCD), forced my hand to gin. My actual plan is to climb a tree and hide. Paint balls really hurt. I so wanted to impress my nephew with my ninja skills, but now he'll learn the man I truly am...maybe I could use him as a human shield... Anyway, Happy Saturday everyone x Link to comment
Guest MarkRS
Hi Gale1982, I hope today isn't as bad as you think it's going to be. Actually, maybe it won't be? Predicting the future is a dangerous thing to do especially with OCD (I know as I do the same thing). Just a note from personal experience - the thought that you need a drink even after a bad day is normally a temporary one. After a while I normally find I feel the same with or without a drink (my wife has actually banned me from drinking if I'm in a bad mood which is more than regularly). Have a good one Link to comment

Spoilsport ........look on the bright side at least the weather's good, it's usually :cold: this time of year, seriously though I hope it went better than you feared? Link to comment

Guest Gale1982
My new motto: If you can survive a whole day of paint-balling with OCD and a monster hangover, then you can survive anything!! I started to have quite a bad panic attack during the induction, thought I was gonna go crazy and make an idiot of myself in front of everyone. Guess what, that never happened. Well...it did, later on, when I tripped over a stick and went face first into a muddy puddle...and later, when I ran into a tree. Honestly, its some insane exposure therapy. Towards the end I just started to ignore my thoughts once I started to believe they couldn't hurt me. Actually, he real pain comes from being shot in the mouth, head, hands, bum and thighs, not to mention tripping on tree roots and falling down rabbit holes. I propose a group of us go sometime. You have no time for OCD. It'll be fun Link to comment
