Symps07
and how effective is it?, thanks. I am currently taking Citalopram 10mg. I had just got off it two months ago after being on it for years & going up to 20mg, but am on it again now. Personally, once it kicks in (after the first month or so) I find it helps me control my anxiety & in turn my OCD (or it did last time, only been three weeks). Link to comment

NicoletteCB
I'm on Luvox (can't remember the pharmaceutical name, sorry!) It's a great medication, specifically used to treat OCD and also social anxiety. Within a few weeks of using it my anxiety went down a lot which in turn helped me to focus on cutting compulsions, doing ERP, and recognizing OCD in me. Link to comment
