I'm going to beat this!

Two years ago I put my family through hell at Christmas because of my OCD. I have over the years had my life shaped by an illness I didn't understand. Now I have increased my knowledge, learnt about me as a person, and sort help.

Most important of all is that I am determined to beat this and I have realised I have to beat it for me.

I can no longer be a person who is never happy, doesn't live, and suffers in silence . I am going to beat this. Best Wishes

Yea am the same i need to go over this hurdle.. last three year i lost my gf.my life and i have gained so much weight. Lets make it a new year resolution. We all here can help each other

I'm feeling quite frustrated at the moment by the power OCD is holding over so many people just lately. Being determined isn't fool-proof, it doesn't offer a pain-free solution....but it's a pretty powerful tool. Stay strong and good luck. It's a good attitude to have.
