Sorry this isn't directly OCD related..

Hey guys hope you're all doing ok.

My ocd and thoughts are very much a bay lately which is great :)

Just after some advice, maybe make advice? My boyfriend has gone to play football and I'm just chilling at his in bed. He is a team leader at work (we work at the same place) and his work phone had been flashing for ages so I was like grumble, tried to get rid of whatever was flashing and came across some rather cosy email conversations with a woman who works for one of our clients. Things like 'your on top of my priority list' 'o I like the sounds of that'

And she send him an email starting with 'hey cheeky!'

And I saw them talking about threesomes and him saying there must've been some 'temptations' for her male work colleagues....

Sorry but.. Wtf... Is it me or is that slightly out of order!? Our relationship is wonderful we have always been so so close, best friends. Why does he think it's ok to talk to a woman like that? Let alone one of our clients!!! Or is it me over reacting???

My anxiety is super high now I feel horrible :(

I mean, if it was my husband I would be very upset, as well. Only because I believe that any kind of flirtatious behavior and/or sexual comments are not appropriate outside of our relationship. I know that he would be very upset if I was speaking to another guy that way, too. Honestly, if I were you I would just talk to him about it, openly and without anger. Just let him know how you feel and how you felt reading that. I can understand your anxiety. I used to have this fear that my husband would cheat on me or leave me for someone else. I would obsess about it a lot. Constantly asking him questions about his past relationships and ANY little thing he would say that was ''positive'' about these other women, I would feel like that proves that he loves/loved them more than he loves me. It was horrible. I would compare myself constantly to everything he said or since I knew what some of them looked like, I would just try to constantly figure out who was more attractive, me or them. It got really bad and he was quite upset with me about it because he was constantly having to reassure me. I am still struggling with that obsession but since my new obsession took over... it hasn't been quite as bad. I know I need to see when those thoughts come up and treat them as OCD.

However, finding e-mails like this... I think you have the right to tell your boyfriend how you feel about them and he should be willing to explain himself.

Thank you for your reply!!

I am always a bit worried about me not being good enough etc, my boyfriends a bit chatty and funny, always makes people laugh and that.

But I am definitely going to talk to him about it, it's just rubbish really :(

I know how he would feel if it was me talking to someone in that way. He would hate it!
