Guest fitchy
I have had psychosis about half a dozen time since i was 17, mainly due to stress. Can it be related to ocd do you think? Never thought to ask my psyche. Link to comment
Caramoole
As OCD is an anxiety disorder and anxiety can be heightened by stress, very possibly.....but I speak as a sufferer, not a professional. I'm sure if your Psychiatrist had any concerns he would be addressing them with you. It seems that addressing the "stressors" might be a good starting point for you Link to comment
whitebeam
When my OCD was really bad, my psychiatrist prescribed anti-psychotics. He said that I wasn't psychotic but some of my thoughts ref my OCD were psychosis-like. (I can't remember exactly what he said - but this was the gist) Edited May 4, 2016 by whitebeam Link to comment
Guest fitchy
Ah ok, and well for me I was hearing voices and became extremely paranoid. Hallucinations and delusions are the main parts of psychosis. Link to comment
