Guest Emilystars
Hi all, I've been diagnosed with OCD and in the past also bipolar II disorder. Lately I've had another episode of illness. It's been predominantly severe anxiety, agitation and very low mood. Drs say not sure at this stage what diagnosis is - likely agitated depression. Trainee GP also said some low grade psychosis - because I said that my thoughts 'talk' to me in my head. What he said terrified me but he said that he doesn't think I'm actually 'psychotic' and that it's likely due to agitated depression. My main OCD fears at moment are when I'm in state of terrifying agitation that I'll hurt someone - and starting today (don't know if this is OCD) suddenly felt like my hands are not my own - that they'll suddenly strangle myself or hurt someone - I KNOW my hands are my own - I KNOW nobody else is controlling my movements but it's a terrifying experience. Please can anyone help me? Link to comment
Guest Honey35
Don't panic it's just your mind playing tricks on you that sounds like part of your ocd , I too have suffered with harm ocd and would have thoughts of hurting the people closest to me but they r just silly thoughts that do not mean anything so try your best to not worry about them as they do not mean anything cbt is a great therapy for this hope this helps you and I hope you are ok Link to comment
