The camera club had access today to a beautiful, 900 year old, redundant Norman Church. It's absolutely gorgeous, and in excellent condition thanks tobthe charitable trust thst owns it. But it proved challenging to photograph inside because of the low light conditions. We used our tripods so that a lower shutter speed could be used, and I increased the sensitivity of my camera so as to get more of any wide angle views in focus. Here is a flavour of the 23 images I took, and processed.

At the camera club last night an illustrious photographer was presenting images of photos he had entered into prestigious award competitions. The image that did best? A photo of two lions having sex. This totally stunned the room. Maybe everyone is now planning trips to a zoo to seek some wining photographs of their own
  3. I am really well thank you bendylouise. It's been a tough 10 weeks going through the cataract operations, multiple eye drop applications over many weeks, and very restricted activities. But the end of those protocols is in "sight " in two weeks, I can drive again, go to the gym for light exercise then normal after those two weeks. And mow the lawn and do gardening in two weeks. Now I can drive again at night, I am back at the camera club on Tuesdays.
  4. I am a particular lover of crockery - and not just the valuable stuff. This Teapot was served up to my wife and I whilst we were having lunch with friends in our wonderful local village tearoom. The owner and the manager, both good friends of ours, have accumulated an eclectic mix of crockery from all sorts of sources; and this one really hit the spot of pleasing, fun, art for us. The inscription around the top reads " today's the day the teddybears have their picnic". Fabulous, and lots of fun - and the tea from it was pretty good too.

Very nice. Here's an "Easter pic" I took whilst walking back from my podiatry appointment. Lovely isn't it?
  6. Very well but awaiting second cataract operation so still pretty one-eyed at the moment.
  7. SeaBreeze, have you heard of anyone else with these obsessive thoughts? I haven't either, so that suggests it's all just trumped up rubbish by OCD. You need to stand up to the compulsive urges.
  8. Beautiful pictures, stunning.
