Finding A Therapist

Recommended Posts

During October I read a BBC article which suggests various therapy regulating bodies did not check the credentials of their therapists, meaning the BBC reporter managed to register his own Cat with a few registered hypnotherapy bodies.

With a myriad of OCD treatments available and online offers of quick fix cures for OCD, I decided to take a look at what people can do when trying to find a therapist privately.

This article offers guidance on choosing the right therapist and advice on maintaining the therapeutic relationship when things go wrong, and can be applied to both private and NHS therapists.

Click here to read the article for Finding A Therapist or I have attached in PDF format.

Although we focus on CBT, regardless of the form of treatment people choose to seek the advice offered in this article should help you find someone suitability experienced with OCD to help you.
