Just heard on the radio what sounded like an NHS advert offering help for obsessive compulsive thoughts urging people to seek help from a GP for help.

Does anybody else get fed up with typing their email address into every site they log onto? I reckon I type it out 30 or more times every day!!

My Christmas Message - https://www.ocduk.org/christmas-message-from-ashley-2022/

Dear forum friends, tomorrow marks a year that I have gone without OCD causing me problems.
So I know it can be done, if we work on not giving belief to intrusions, phasing out compulsions, and keeping up activities that take time and opportunity away from OCD.
When we work hard to achieve this, the results should come. There will be challenges along the way, it's not easy, but - as I have found- it can be done.

Bit last posting, but I completed the Manchester 10k in aid of OCD UK and raised a few pennies! Congratulations to the other people I saw also wearing OCD UK shirts!

I discovered this week I have a niece that is old enough to have a job.. how did that happen! I should not be old enough to have a niece that is old enough to have a job.

Just went to the MedConfidential website to find out how to opt out of NHS sharing data to keep my medical records confidential.

Bacon butty and glass of Prosecco, I'm actually having a nice and peaceful morning alone (but not feeling alone) on Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope we all manage to have a nice day in this strangest of years

Hello my name is Imogen and I am 58 years old. I have suffered with ocd for over 38 years. Sometimes I have no intrusive thoughts at all and other times they have been over welling. Most of the time I cope very well but this COVID 19 period has been challenging. I know I will get better again and keep on fighting. That is the only way we will get better

Received an email from Amazon Smile to say £80 was raised for OCD-UK this quarter by people shopping on the site. So make sure you're shopping at Amazon Smile (not just Amazon UK) and choose OCD-UK as your chosen charity. No extra cost to you and it's the same shop!

Why oh why did I procrastinate on getting a haircut prior to lockdown?

So hard to shop for food AND socially distance.

Struggling to even lift my glass of coke today!

Had two weeks of a virus and bored with it now. Two weeks of coughing violently when I lay down to the point I throw up. Not had full nights sleep in weeks.

Turned off my storage heaters yesterday to "save money" and now my flat is like an ice cube. Past GBG fail.

When you find a spider in a hard to reach place and have no choice but to burn the house down and emigrate

Has encountered about twenty million spiders in the last three days.

Riding 100 miles for the charity this weekend on Sunday on the old Olympic road race route. Starts at Olympic Park > central London > Surrey Hills > Wimbledon > Finish in front of Buckingham Palace.

Thank you everyone for sponsoring. I did it, it was challenging but 95 mile course (a hill was closed due to accident shortening to 95 from 100) but getting to and from start/finish line I did about 110 miles cycling on the day. I did it in a time of 7hr 40 which is slow, but I had to stop 7 times to get water/pee so that added at least 5 minutes per stop and a few bottlenecks and accidents meant we were held at times so I lost at least 20-30 minutes there. My target is to get under 7 hours next year. Will post about an OCD issue later.

Why is it that when I right OCD UK into Google search the Linden method comes to the top of the page now instead ?
