Think I have had OCD since being a child, just never diagnosed,  always had an over active imagination and was always an anxious child....

When I reached 16, my OCD got much worse as I was thinking I was gay, was preoccupied with everything that went through my head, met my boyfriend,  now husband and kept thinking that I didn't love him etc all this caused severe anxiety!

My OCD got finally diagnosed in 2007, after I had my first child as whilst I was pregnant,  my thoughts went to a whole new level and had awful thoughts and images! Of harming my child and after the birth, was really ill with OCD to the point I thought I was going to harm myself and my child.  I was then prescribed Sertraline andhave been on it ever since, although I'm reducing slowly now.  2nd child was a breeze and I do feel ok now, but i still have my moments, when OCD raises its ugly head!
