    Visiting a narrowboat marina  I spotted a boat called "Taurean" -  now  the background image to my profile pic.

      What a shame Roy :( a narrow boat experience is wonderful, going through the locks and stopping at wonderful places on your journey, you would just love it ?

      I have been on one converted into a restaurant and which sailed down the river at Guildford - that was lovely. A corporate entertainment evening by an insurance company :)

      Plus today's cafe conversion one. But that was of course moored. 

      There were three in dry dock being worked on - they are amazing craft.
