Julie has had a poor day healthwise today, but at least she is on the anti-biotic thanks to us fighting to get her seen yesterday by the surgery's emergency team - so hopefully she will feel better soon. 

After 40 years of good health she has certainly had a bad run recently - that's the third time since beginning of February that I have had to arrange an appointment with the emergency team for her

At least at our surgery we have both been able to complete consent forms so that either of us can talk to the surgery and doctors about each others health, make appointments, accompany at consultations, collect urgent prescriptions. 

Julie almost fainted yesterday with the illness, the heat and the powerful antibiotics, so will need to seek out the cooler parts of the bungalow today, and probably plan to stay at home this week. 

That would seem like a prison sentence to outwardly-mobile intensive socialite me - but she has always been a home bird  

She has had half a day good today, and had a big lift today as a nice young man from the windows company came and adjusted the alignment on both our French windows. Eureka
