3 rooms here with boxes to sort into keep, charity shop, or recycle centre. Downsizing is an incredible challenge.

Well the anaesthetic has worn off and I am still OK. Got to treat that area ultra carefully for a while.
Julie is going to prepare macaroni cheese for dinner, plus some yoghurt for afterwards. I am pleased.
Whilst in the chair I simply observed what the dentist was doing, whilst listening to the pop music playing low in the background.

Hope the doctors visit was helpful?

Am all "shopped out" after we had a session in Northampton Town centre yesterday, then Wyevale garden centre today.
Various items now found and ticked off though.Plus two nice lunches out.

Am suffering from a blocked eustacian tube at the back of my right ear canal, causing temporary loss of half the hearing in the ear.
It's the result of an allergic reaction to dust which had collected upstairs. We cleaned the dust away several days ago, but the allergic reaction hasn't yet died down. So am using antihistamines to gradually reduce it.
Meanwhile had to turn up the volume on my hearing aids to keep up my social and domestic interactions with others

Be careful folks - snow and ice can be really dangerous. Once I walked two miles back home from the station on icy pavements, only to fall over at the gateway to home and land painfully in my sternum - the base end of the spine
I had enormous pain and inflammation which needed medical intervention

Been a good day. My ailing wife has been well enough to tackle a trip into town with me today, and wants to go out together to the local shops tomorrow
-
Been another good evening relaxing whilst seeking to help where I can. It's benefited me and hopefully others

Been catching the sun, as well as some fish, by the lakes today, Great mindfulness experience and made a new friend on the bank.
Just waiting now in the pub, over over a pint, for the sun to go down so I can drive home.

Been out all day till a short while ago, now lying on the bed with my legs in the air, relaxing to a new compilation classical music CD
-
Been taking it easy today but still set up my new computer table, and the gate leg table in the kitchen to make a kitchen diner.
Fabulous views from the diner through French windows, over the decking and into the garden. Plenty of lovely birds now visiting. It's a fabulous spot for meals, chat, tea and quiet contemplation.

Can't remember when I have last felt so shattered - after two days of hard physical work , family discussion, and two long sessions of driving.
I sense a collapse under the sun umbrella in the garden coming on, followed by immersion in the golf and Tour de France

Didn't fancy trying to wash and wax my car myself, so stopped by at a car washing organisation operating at a nearby car service centre.
The guys seen to have done a thorough external wash and wax, well worth the £6 they charged me.

Drove up this morning through the gorgeous green rolling hills of the Vale of Aylesbury. Added to wellbeing by playing the songs from "South Pacific" on the car's dolby digital tape player.
"Some enchanted evening!" (morning in my case!).

Have had 4 weather systems today. Torrential rain, cloudy, thunder, now bright blue sky. Is this storm Ewan?

I have been working hard since 09.00 hours unloading, selecting things to keep loading remainder into the car, and have done two drives to the recycle centre, one shopping trip and a wash and tumble dry.
Now collapsed in front of the winter Olympics. I just love the ladies' figure skating.

In the opticians this morning I announced that I had a screw loose. All the staff collapsed laughing, before my screw got tightened up

It's great to be in the warm, but radiator heat dries the humidity, and I get dry skin and my wife and I dry eyes.
We have placed a watercup in each main room to help humidity, and turn the heating lower whenever we can. And we let some air in through lightly opening a couple of windows periodically.
Plus we have moisturising skin cream and eye wash and drops.
Not much more we can do.

just me active at home tonight - listening to smooth classics via the music setting on my hearing aids is quite sensational
-
Just off to the end of the road for a residents' mulled wine mince pies and carol singing party, with a collection for charity too.
Got to practice my rich bass voice to let it rip in the carols!

Let's ease down compulsions and enjoy the sunshine this UK bank holiday. Stop when you realise, then refocus away.

My friends - I am all familied out .I have helped keep everyone onside during a difficult time of inter-liaison, and catching up with people though
A little of a good thing can go a long long way however

My hearing specialist was amazed when I told him I was 67 - he was convinced I was only mid-50s. What a lovely man
