I got at least this right. I got into the barbers about two days before they were closed, and had a shorter cut than usual. 

But we got more cash out in case there was a cash crisis. We thought the IT services might not cope with the demand for card payments, but hasn't thankfully happened yet. 

I am fortunate as Julie is pretty good at haircutting. Not sure how she is going to take to stepping into the shoes of the podiatrist though ??

ooh cheese and marmite sounds good! no it's just a couple of slices of bread with some cheese in the microwave with some ketchup... i say toastie cos it sounds a bit more respectable  

So glad we have gas-fired  central heating. Never did like the storage heaters at mum-in-law's flat.

Think yourself lucky you have heating to turn off GBG, my central heating's packed up again for second time in the month two days ago... Brrrrr

I never use extractor fans they always just seem like they make noise and that's it! 

Never had a router so can't help you at all there! Hopefully you get it sorted

Extractor fans have an on off override usually above the bathroom light switch. 

And they only work when the light is on. 

I would say there was some water ingress from outside trapped in the hole. There is supposed to be a 2-way flap on the outside which only opens when the fan is running, to let the air out. 

Sounds like that flap is stuck open. 

Thanks Roy. Yes I can turn it on it just doesn't clear the steam very well which is why I hoovered it. I don't think it's to do with the flap as it only happened after hoovering it however it seems to be stopping now which is good.

J has got one here in the kitchen. 

But she has worked a reframe - it's now a pet, along with all the garden wild animals.

Living in the country I get loads of spiders and I don't mind them at all, I usually let them roam around. But I hate tiny insects and on the wall near my door I have lots of tiny ones crawling on the inside wall around front door when hot like yesterday. Urrgghghh

Been reading about it and basically they're out and about this time of year because they're after sex!
