  8. Have been on the radio twice this week with Ashley. Really enjoyed the chance to increase awareness, but also I learned that when I speak up, I don't sound too bad!

  12. Thinking today of all the commuters inconvenienced by the London Underground strike.But can't say overnight running of trains seems a good idea to me.

  15. My 2 and a half year old nephew blamed me for stealing his dinner. He needs to learn that if he's going to blame people for things, he needs pick someone who is at least in the same town.

  18. I attended 2 barbecues on either side of London on Saturday. 1 at church as part of their fete, 1 at my sister's houe. Am now all barbecued out !!

  21. Apparently people have been complaining that the dinosaurs in the new Jurassic Park film don't have feathers. Dinosaurs brought to life in a lab from DNA millions of years old: perfectly fine. No feathers: a bridge too far, it seems.
