Hello. I am currently taking prozac and it is working a treat!!! But unfortunately I am piling on the pounds. I just cant stop eating. It sounds ridiculous but as hard as I try I end up over eating each day. Because is have CFS it makes ot very difficult to do exercise. I was a slim size 10 before I started on it a year ago. I was wondering if trying zoloft might be worth a go. As I have heard that has the lowest weight gain. I suffer mainly with intrusive thoughts. Has anyone had sucsess with prozac and zoloft. Any input and advice would be fab.

Thanks guys, im not pregnant and dont plan on being for a while. I would love to have children and so would my partner so I thought its something worth looking into before I make the decision. Until recently I thought I would never be able to with the ocd. So im only just getting my head around the fact that I might be able to with the right help. .

What are the bad side affects you mentioned. Its more for reassurance that ive got something to take in a worst case scenario. I will probably never take them. Thanks for all your replys. I can see that because of addiction its best not to get them in the first place. I feel I have a healthy fear of medication and would only use it in unbearable situations. So im not to worried about addiction. -
Hi. I'm sorry you're having a tough time at the moment. When I moved back in with my parents my ocd also came back with avengance. It was quite a shock as you say it had returned full force in a day or so. I don't know if subconsciously I new thats the place I felt worse, or if being back in the inviroment I was bad triggered it. It sounds to me like you are doing all the right things and you have noticed its getting out of control and are doing something about it.. I found exercise really helped give my mind a break I used to watch homes under the hammer at the same time for double distraction. Stick with it. You will gain control back soon enough. X
