  1. I read it and it helped clear things up for me, I was to afraid to ask questions even after I'd been diagnosed so it was great to have them answered without the akwardness! A section about things it leads to might be useful, mine has lead to feeling misersble and angry all the time so having something to help you with that would be amazing! Happy to help if needed
  2. Heyy, Sounds like Life is really tough right now, but I'm glad you're getting help! If you don't want to say it to him but want him to understand try writing it down? Leave it somewhere he'll see it, and don't be with him when he does so he has time to think before he answers. Or e-mail him. That way he should see how you're really feeling and understand that this is honestly whats best for you! You never know it might even bring you closer together if you feel like you can talk to each other, because what is more personal and embarrassing than having to explain whats going on in your head? Here anytime you need to talk Hope it goes well, Lissy xx

    OCD on DofE

Thanks for all of these!! The second day went great....we got really badly lost on the first day and ended up in a barbed wire enclosure at 10pm, so naturally my head went into overdrive and I full on panicked. On the plus side: I had to tell my friends why, and that made the second day so much easier!

    OCD on DofE

So a while ago (about 9 months) I did my practice expedition for DofE and the OCD made it tricky but it was relatively okay. Next weekend I'm due to do my qualifying expedition and I'm really nervous: my OCD is so much worse than it was in all aspects. I tap almost constantly now so its going to be hard to hide, especially for 2 days constantly and I'm really really worried that my feet are going to get dirty and I won't be able to wash them properly. Any advice? Thanks

  8. Thank you, I start it on Wednesday but im quite scared what do they do at cbt, sorry I don't really understand how it works
  9. nope just not on the site yeah I know I pm quite a few people
  10. you're not saying anything wrong, if you were I'd tell you. Soon enough it'll happen.... I think I am a zombie, no person has ever been able to find my pulse and clearly I don't need sleep? yeah it would be interesting, some areas of America (rural south) are thought to have accents that are more likely to be how we sounded because they are the areas where the English settled and some of the old words from that time are still used so people think the accents might have stayed as well
  11. maybe American is the combination of English, irish, german, dutch etc. who travelled there? if it will make you happy I'll say yes. yes.
  12. welsh is by far the best accent!! Bristol is pretty good as well, especially when its the properly farmery stereotype ones!!
  13. Birmingham isn't that bad is it? its just a bit whiny! scouse is worse!
