  2. Thanks very much for replying and for the recommendation. Has anyone used any of these therapists or can anyone recommend a therapist they've used themselves? Thank you
  3. I'm struggling to get any help from the NHS for my severe OCD/anxiety, can anyone recommend any good therapists that offer remote therapy? Thanks in advance

  5. I'm so sorry you feel this way, taking your life isn't the answer, things can and will get better. Please reach out and speak to a friend or your wife or call one of the mental health helplines, the Samaritans or go to a&e x
  6. Hi, So sorry to hear what you're all going through with your children, unfortunately we're in a very similar situation with our 14 year old daughter, her OCD developed last summer, but has become really severe in the past few weeks. One thing I would like to ask is how you juggle work and general life alongside the intensity of trying to help your child. My husband has been off work with stress for 2 weeks and has a very demanding job, he's struggling to see how he's going to cope when he goes back to work. I suffer with OCD myself, so my husband has become a carer to both me and my daughter. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  7. Also, if you're not already getting help for your OCD, please talk to your GP or OCD UK for advice about getting help. You're not alone, as you can see by the great advice that other people on this forum have given. It can and will get better. Take care x
  8. I'm so sorry you feel this way, I really feel for you, I know how awful OCD can be. Please contact the Samaritans, go to your nearest hospital or if there's anyone at all you can call and speak to please do... Please keep fighting this, it will get better. Take care x
