Yes, I opted out both “GP data” and “other data”. The first one you print off a form and fill it out then drop off at your GP surgery. The latter it directs you to a page on the NHS website where you opt out.
I think you have until June 23rd to do either both or one or the other. They were talking about the subject on the radio and had someone from MedConfidential on the phone. The subject was also talked about on Watchdog on The One Show the other day.
