Sorry about your friend OB1, like you say I think people can forget or not appreciate if you are living alone. Have you tired any dating sites at all for relationships? I wonder if maybe due to the pandemic more people will feel like yourself and be thinking about finding that someone ? I accept currently you can't meet but you could strike up a rapport?

I used to play quite a lot of football - mainly 5 a side with my mates we were in a league briefly but that fizzled out. I also quite like racket sports, Tennis, squash, Badminton but not played in years I am a tad out of shape if I am honest.

I grew up with close male friendships - didn't have any female friends in our group on a plutonic basis. I have never really had female friends if that makes sense - relationships yes but  friends no it wasn't deliberate as such but just developed that way. I think I maybe could have benefitted from female friendship. I think these days its maybe a bit different and males and females mix in the same friendship groups. 

you are giving yourself a hard time OB1, you can't be everything to everyone. I am sorry that people are not as willing to zoom like the first lockdown. 

could you ask your neighbour if she wants a doorstep drink? maybe she is wondering if you want to do that this time round - you could always ask?

can you zoom anyone OB1? or are you in a bubble with anyone?

I did this a few years ago playing 5-a-side football. it was surprisingly painful. I had to sit with my ankle raised for 48hrs and take pain killers.

didn't realise it had got that bad GBG! I think that breaches the social distancing guidelines no cheesy boyband music with 2m - of your ears!

can I have a cheesy chomper please? mates rates though so I hope it will be about 50p. 

sounds like fine dining to me, I may be tempted to swap ketchup for brown sauce but otherwise its Michelin standard grub. I speak as a regular master chef watcher so I know what I am talking about

was that in a toasty maker ? or one of those toaster bags? I really like cheese and marmite toasties - with a cup of tea obvs!

I did a similar thing here, we had the heating on a good majority of Sunday, so in a money saving frame of mind switched it off - but forgot to switch it back on so it could come on at the selected times, hence house was Baltic last night!

The Tennis and Cricket were both amazing events. I watched the cricket mainly as its rare to have access to it on terrestrial TV I flicked to the tennis in the closing stages. What a day for sport!
