We have to do the work, but gently does it and success will follow. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
It's just a momentum - start small, build up resilience and alternative response - treat setbacks as blips, and build that momentum.
And don't believe the OCD, but rather the collective WE that is therapists, self-help, and the forum members.
Another day, another dollar or whatever
But really, another chance to do as lost says. When we get to start to do this autonomously, automatically, we will be on an upward path out of the mire that represents our OCD.
