  1. Hello everyone. I am making this post, because I would want to get advices from people who also suffer from OCD. I am currently taking medications for it and I am also waiting in line to start a therapy. I have many problems with keeping up the hygiene - both my personal and the space that I am living in due to my illness. I live in a very messy environment, but I am not able to take care of it and clean it, because I am scared of touching things, of dirt, of not doing things in order, of mixed things (by this I mean things that are not in the same colour, scent, brand etc). I feel like it is not okay to just start doing things, because it makes me feel anxious, I feel like I need to wait for a specific moment. I do not hear much about people dealing with OCD, but being on the other side - not all clean and perfect. Does anyone can share their advices to basically do stuff despite having problems, recommend some books or resources, maybe some words from therapy? I would really appreciate it.
