  1. hi everyone Still trying to deal with covid issues however I'm finding im feeling bored with the compulsions and ocd so I feel that I want to just forget about them and move on whilst this sounds a good thing will ocd come back and hit me harder? anyone else experienced this?
  2. Thanks for replying I'm at the stage where I'm watching others and thinking they aren't bothered about touching things or changing clothes etc so why should I be bothered Its just the letting go is so hard Good luck with the cistern
  3. Hi everyone Was done so well then WHAM gone backwards Worry about Covid contamination on clothes after sitting down somewhere inside or outside, touching items in shops or when home delivered, showers taking half an hour, hanging clothes when returning home, etc I'm so fed up
  4. Hi let it go I'm a parent myself One of my sons is 36 years old and likes alcohol too much I moan about him all the time and say things and think things but I dont mean them. I know this isn't the same as your issue but its only thoughts You and your son will be OK You don't need to do any neutralising or compulsions Let it go!!!
  5. Thank you for the encouragement and support I hope you are doing well
  6. hi everyone havnt been on forum for a while. Been focusing on dealing with my covid contamination fears. Not doing too badly really. Got showering down to approx 10 minutes and sometimes even go without shower for a few days on purpose just to annoy my ocd ? Not worrying about dog being wiped over thoroughly anymore- even managed to stroke a strangers dog in Park yesterday gelled hands when got in car and then told ocd to do one when it tried the what ifs I had visitors in the house and didn't worry about their shoes etc Going into shops , depending on how crowded dont wear mask sometimes just keep distance from others Not wiping over deliveries now However still having to change clothes if sitting down either outside or in say a cafe So not doing too badly ? I hope everyone is well and doing well challenging their ocd Take care
  7. This happens to me too. My mind racing, feeling sick. It happens as soon as I'm awake. I try calming down by listening to the birds and looking at the trees outside my room window. However, as suggested by others exercise could be the answer I'm going to try this to see if it will help
  8. I'm going to try and ignore the doubts Thank you ?
  9. Hi I can see what you are getting at but how do I stop the thoughts, doubts etc any advice please
