hello this type of ocd is pretty scary and tends to attach itself to things we care about. like youve pointed out you are not interested in this and should ignore it as false messages. i had exactly the same when changing my daughter one time , i had the thought what if while changing her i had inappropriately touched her. ocd then done its worst and sent me into rumination analysing ever detail of my past looking for something that didnt exist. i ended up in a and e convinced id done something bad. the only way to quiet this form of ocd is to not engage in any seeking behaviour. this is bad for any form of ocd but the more you pay attention to this type of obsession the more the fear grows and tries to convince you its real. the goal is to believe in yourself that you would never do something like that and forget searching for something that doesnt exist as this is the road to nowhere.
