  1. Yes I have dabbled in CBT before. I find that writing down how I feel helps. I have not been to therapy in a long while. I often don't find it fun to divulge my private problems to others. But I will concede that this problem if left unchecked could cause health problems.
  2. In essence, if I feel like a food/drink I've eaten has a disease or a contamination, I will immediately vomit it out. Despite this happening rarely, it seems to have become more violent lately (I will vomit more times when this anxiety pops up.) Has anyone else heard of this before? It seems rare with most people vomiting over body-image issues rather than food contamination. The main trigger is when a piece of food has a weird particle/colour that I can't explain (a black spot on a piece of chicken for example.) If I can explain what the thing is then the urge to vomit does not appear.
