  1. I am currently struggling to talk to my husband about any difficulties I am having with OCD. He is incredibly supportive and I am able to talk openly with him. However recently I have noticed I have to portray everything as perfect to him otherwise my brain quickly tells me he will leave me and it is making me really terrified. Is this relationship OCD? Any advice on how to combat this?
  2. Hi snowbear, themes are changing so quickly it’s hard to keep up with them. I do exposures then that thing gets slightly better but then something else takes it’s place. Constantly feel like we are back to square one.
  3. Hi all, I have been having therapy with my current therapist for over a year now. I am under the perinatal team and our time is coming to an end shortly due to my child turning 2. My therapist acknowledges that my OCD has not improved much and still has a huge and debilitating impact on my daily life. He however doesn't want to refer me to another service to continue therapy as he does not feel it has helped me very much. Any advice please?
  4. Hi all, At support group last week someone talked about being diagnosed with autism as well as Ocd. I have since had a Google and I seem to meet a lot of the criteria for autism. Much of my OCD treatment has been unsuccessful and I read a number of articles about girls in their 20s struggling with ocd/depression and only several years later when they are still struggling then medical professionals realising they actually just have autism. If I am correct the treatment for ocd is slightly different for people with autism. Does anyone have any experience or advice regarding this topic Thanks ?
