  1. The normal procedure for this is the therapist sends a letter to your GP at the end of your therapy. The letter will give a brief report of the therapy and the outcome. You can request a copy of the letter to yourself (some therapists will do that automatically). You can use your copy of the letter for your PIP claim.
  2. I hear what you are saying. Are you keeping in touch with your Doctor and therapy team?
  3. Look outwards rather than inwards Get out and talk to people (about anything) Go somewhere new Try new hobby/sport After I had done a therapy session, I just made some key notes of things that needed reading/homework etc. then put my notes down for the rest of that day. I planned to spend some homework sessions for the week ahead. Put a time limit on the sessions, then go do something completely different. The day before the next therapy, write down things that need to be discussed with my therapist. Do not do anything more with my therapy notes on the morning of the therapy session. That way I found I was more relaxed when my therapy sesson started.
  4. I would think the longer you leave it, the more accurate the scans will be. In my own case the scan showed multiple infarcts and the Specialist Doctor could even tell the approximate age of the various infarcts in my brain. The degree of accuracy is actually quite high and especially accurate if the contrast dye is used.
