  1. So, long story short I have a 10 year old son who I think may be ocd. He's always been the sensitive and anxious one out of the kids and gets easily upset. I do think he is asd (his older brother is diagnosed) too and over the past three years he has lost his Grandad, Great grandma and now has to cope with his Mamma being diagnosed and treated for cancer. I have put all his behaviours over the past year or so down to anxiety and him just expressing it in various ways but he is now worrying about germs. He will wash his feet multiple times a day because he thinks he's stepped in something, same with his hands. If he thinks any piece of his clothing has touched something he will cry because he's scared. He thought his headset cable touched his dinner tonight so he refused to eat it and then later he wouldn't sit down at all as he was scared to touch anything at all. He is crying so so much at the minute which for him is saying something but I'm at a loss with what to do with him for the best at the minute. He gets upset about washing his hands because he thinks there will be germs on the soap so he can't touch it. He's changed his bottoms three times today and the socks I tried to get him to wear didn't last long. We have tried ignoring him completely, tried to explain and reason with him, I suppose enabling him if it helps him feel better (I don't think this is actually a good idea though) and I don't know what to do next. He gets completely inconsolable multiple times a day, how am I supposed to help him?
