Turned off my storage heaters yesterday to "save money" and now my flat is like an ice cube. Past GBG fail.

Spreading my thinking net too wide - I need to keep it simple and beneficial, and ignore everything else.

On the right track.....Don't over-think it. OCD will always be willing to indulge over-thinking....keep doing, bat the thinking away and mop the kitchen floor again, it will gain more Smartie points with the Missus and more benefits held in reserve for you
"I have the knowledge & if I can just work this out using that knowledge", seems logical and tempting.....in OCD's World it's tempting to get pulled down that track.....Don't debate....keep doing, keep mopping....ignore that oh so tempting logic.
We're at about the worst stage of the "Lack of daylight Phase".....Spring and sunshine are around the corner....hang in there....you'll improve fairly soon, as will I. Difficult time of year

Taurean and caramoole, great topics, enjoying the fun part of it and how it's enjoyable to us all. It's great how it makes us think about nice things

Is it raining up north? Glorious scorching weather down here in the south today.

It was scorching hot all day until it became spookily pitch black like night, very early evening....then we had the most marvelous storm that lasted about 1.5 hours, amazing fork lighting that illuminated everywhere. I heard a crash on the building next to us that sounded like an earthquake, don't know if it got struck but we were in the eye of the storm.....it was wonderful

Maybe I am mistaking my count
Yes, you are mistaking your count. 95 calories in a single portion slice, not a loaf.

It's not so bad, my dear little friend Think of it as a begining and not an end - You will be with Mum again and Bonzo and Silver and there will be new friends - Victor and Brandy and Bonzo 1 - Sooty and Holly, Sophie and Eevie, the first black one. There will be Nan and grandads two, mum will make sure they are waiting for you - I cry not for where you go but that I cannot come, be brave my friend, my little one and say hello to Mum.

I can't believe I am writing an article that partially defends Linden... still, a broken clock is right twice a day I suppose.
